The Kingsclere Village Club is the official name of your local village hall – so it is not a private club, but a facility for the local community.
The Village Hall is a Grade II listed building, within Kingsclere's conservation area – so contributes to the character and charm of the village. It is a treasure trove of heritage features which the managing trustees work to maintain. In addition the trustees work to ensure the facility offers activities that are relevant to local people, resulting in a well used facility.
Located on George Street, within the conservation area, the Club contributes to the architectural and historic interest of the village.
Various modifications since the 1880s have created a treasure trove of features of architectural and historic interest spanning different periods in time. These include elements such as a brick floor, fire places, and original internal and external doors, which the Trustees are duty bound to preserve.
