Hall Floor

In December 2024 some planned repairs to our hall floor revealed a much bigger job than an afternoon of repairs by one person. It seems that moisture had penetrated underneath the vinyl over a fairly large section of floor. Since that time we have been investigating what the cause of the moisture is – and three months on have various theories but no solid answer! So we are due to start a process of elimination – starting with some roof repairs, and taking it from there. In the meantime the floor is safe and part of it has temporary carpet tiles (which are proving popular!), and we are grateful to everyone for bearing with us.
