8.30 — 9.30 Flow Yoga with Kate
Kate's classes offer a dynamic and playful style of Vinyasa flow yoga. Her style is energising yet calming, fun but challenging.
Expect a moderate pace where we will flow through the sun salutations, strong standing poses, play with some inversions and then bring the rate down with some relaxing supine poses. Ideal for all those who have some prior knowledge of yoga and wish to try an energising form of flow yoga.
9.45-10.45 Postural Hatha with Jo
Joanna's carefully constructed Hatha Yoga style blends her many influencers
including; Iyengar alignment, Viniyoga sequencing, Feldenkrais and Mukunda Styles to free the joints somatically and move on the breath. Learn how to individualise and reinterpret your practise through the practical application of anatomy and gravity so you can self-protect, empower and self-adjust for best results. Suitable for all.
11-12 Sound Therapy with Vonnie
Relax, restore and rebalance with a meditative therapeutic taster session of vibrational & rhythmic Sound Therapy. Expect to be enveloped and rebalanced, by the beautiful and diverse tones of Himalayan singing bowls, quartz crystal bowls, gongs & percussion. Suitable for all.
12.15-13.00 Tai Chi with Paula
Classic Hatha yoga postures, with modifications to suit all who prefer a gentle, relaxing class. Perfect for seniors, anyone new to yoga, if you're working with an injury or limited mobility.
Tai Chi is a great practice for promoting movement of the whole body, relaxation and managing stress.
13.45-14.45 Hatha Yoga with Anna
Anna will lead a relaxed, friendly class that is open to all abilities. Her yoga style is a moderately paced, flowing practice with music, which will leave you feeling stretched, energized and relaxed — all at once! The class will include a range of standing and floor-based postures, synchronizing breath with movement. Anna will give plenty of cues for alignment, as well as variations to make the class accessible to everyone.
15.00-16.00 Flow with Tory
Tory combines her experience of being of being a professional dancer with her love and knowledge of yoga to bring you, a creative and dynamic flow combining the breath with physical flowing sequences and held postures. Build strength and flexibility, re- energise the body, relieve stress and calm your mind. Expect some challenge but lots of fun and of course a relaxing Savasana
16.15-17.15 Flow Yoga and Relaxation with Kate
A relaxing, slow flow where we will take the time to move mindfully with the breath through a sequence to round off the day. Suitable for all.
17.30 Closing ceremony
1. Please complete a booking form, selecting up to 5 classes that you would like to attend.
2. Complete the health questionnaire and waiver form, and inform us of any food allergies.
3. Return both forms with your £25 deposit. Instructions for returning electronically or via the post are provided on the booking form.
4. Pay the remaining £25 before 20th July.
There will be a room set aside for relaxation, chat and refreshments in between your classes. If you have a mat then bring it with you, a blanket if you want to and don't forget your picnic lunch. (There is a café in the village as an alternative.)
Parking for the day is in the Holding Field car park (next to the Bowls Club).
