The Village Club is run entirely by volunteers, managed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for decision making and day to day running of the building. They are appointed at the AGM, which members of the public are encouraged to attend, as this is their opportunity to hold the Board accountable for its actions.
If you have a skill to offer and are interested in enhancing your CV by demonstrating how you make a difference within the charitable sector, please contact the clerk or our chairman to discuss how best you can get involved.
Maintaining the fabric of the historic building, as well as working to maximise use of the building, are the focus of the Board's work. The range of skills that are particularly useful include office skills; cleaning; building and decorating; legal skills; book-keeping; marketing; and gardening.
